Jaxton Hansen was born with a life-threatening heart defect. Because of the seriousness of his condition, he spent 3 long months as a patient in the Pheonix Children’s Hospital CVICU. During that time, the Hanen’s family and friends gathered for a fund-raising golf tournament to help with financial burdens accrued from his medical care.

Jaxton slowly healed and life became manageable. Grateful for the gift of financial support, the Hansen family decided to pay it forward.
In 2017, Jaxton’s Heart Warriors Inc. was created and began hosting an annual fund-raising golf tournament called “Heart Warrior Open” To date, we have been able to raise over $125,000 to help other children in the Pheonix Children’s CVICU.

In 2020 Xan Hansen was born with a Sub-pulmonary VSD which wasn't life threatening but required open heart surgery to fix. At the age of 2 he had this surgery at the Phoenix Children's Hospital with the same surgeon that completed Jaxton's heart surgeries the past years.
We continue to be grateful for the life altering care that is given at Phoenix Children's Hospital and use this as motivation to give back.

We now invite you to celebrate with the Hansen family in supporting so many brave little Heart Warriors as they fight for their lives!

Chuck Hansen
Chuck Hansen was the heartbeat behind the Heart Warrior Open each year. It was originally his idea to start the Heart Warrior Open to help out baby Jaxton when their family was in need.

As we chose to continue the tournament each year he took great pride and joy in seeing all of our family, friends and collogues from all over gather to celebrate and raise money for Phoenix Children's Hospital.
We move forward always remembering and honoring him as we continue to raise and donate money to those in need. He would be proud of the work we all accomplish together!
